IT'S FAST

Using advanced technology coupled with a worldwide computer network ensures that money reaches the recipient quickly and securely. Western Union is fast; your money is generally available within minutes, depending on the opening hours of local Agents, difference in time zones, and applicable restrictions.

IT'S RELIABLE

As the safety of your money transfer is of paramount importance, the receiver must show personal ID, give the name of the sender, the amount sent, the country sent from, and where applicable, the unique Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). This ensures that only the intended receiver collects the money you sent.

Western Union works with trusted and reliable Agents and provides money transfer services at over 1900 Agent locations in Nigeria. In Nigeria, our cooperation partners are Access Bank, FCMB, Ecobank, IBTC, Diamond Bank, First Bank, Intercontinental Bank, Oceanic Bank, Skye Bank, Zenith Bank, Wema Bank, GTBank, Unity Bank, and Sterling Bank. Your money can be picked up at any Western Union Agent location in Nigeria, regardless of where your receiver may be. The process is simple: Western Union does not require a bank account to send or receive money, ensuring that the company provides an even more convenient service.

And the process couldn't be easier.
